Summit Medical Supply opens on Tice Valley Boulevard, across from Rossmoor

A store selling home medical equipment opened this month on Tice Valley Boulevard, across the road from Rossmoor.

Summit Medical Supply held its ribbon cutting at 1874 Tice Valley Blvd. on Thursday, Sept. 10, the city of Walnut Creek said. It is the company's second store; the first is in Castro Valley.

The stock is the equipment people need to stay in their own homes: mobility gear and home medical equipment meant to make daily life safer and easier, according to the city. The mayor and city economic development staff were at the ribbon cutting.

The address matters for the customer base. The store sits across from Rossmoor, and the city said it adds to a growing group of medical and health-related businesses in that part of Tice Valley.

The business also keeps a Walnut Creek website at summitmedicalwc.com, which so far carries only a contact form. Opening hours have not been published.
