Contra Costa County Public Works will repair a damaged culvert and sinkhole under Springbrook Road near Sherwood Way from October 1 through November 30, 2026.

Contra Costa County Public Works will repair a damaged culvert and sinkhole under Springbrook Road near Sherwood Way from October 1 through November 30, 2026, according to Contra Costa County.

Construction will occur from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, weather permitting. Springbrook Road will be closed to through traffic between east of Sherwood Way and south of the project site during working hours, according to Contra Costa County.

Residents along the closure may experience delays of up to 15 minutes, according to Contra Costa County.

Funding for the project is provided by Federal Emergency Relief Funds and Local Road Funds, according to Contra Costa County.
