According to City of Antioch — News Flash: The City of Antioch Water Treatment Plant is conducting official sampling for an ongoing, multi-year Lead and Copper Corrosion Control Study. The study follows the recent opening of Antioch's new Brackish Water Desalination Facility.

Certified city personnel and selected residents are monitoring household drinking water to ensure no lead or copper is leaching into home plumbing.

Participation is limited to pre-qualified residential sites that meet specific EPA structural criteria. The city is not accepting general volunteers at this time.
